Flights to Florida
When arranging a flight to
Florida it is important to have planned what you are doing
first. You can get flights to Florida from most UK airports
into Orlando International Airport or Sanford Airport. There
is also the option to get flights to Tampa or Miami Airports
as well however these two airports are mainly served by
scheduled flights unlike Sanford which is the main airport
used by charter airlines.
Generally most visitors will spend most of their time in the
Orlando area and move to the coast to spend a few days at the
beach. If you are planning on travelling around Florida and you
may be able to get flights to Florida into one airport and a
flight from Florida from another. So you could fly into Tampa
airport on the West coast and tour around Florida and leave
from Miami airport. This can also be done in reverse or you
could spend some time in Miami and end your holiday in Orlando
and get a flight from Orlando home. This generally can’t be
done on a charter flight as they are usually based on return
flights to Florida and back from the same airport.
There are many options when
looking for a flight to Florida and no matter where you live
in the UK you are bound to find a direct Florida flight from
a nearby airport. Most UK holiday companies such as Thomson
Holidays, Thomas Cook Holidays, Travel City Direct, Direct
Holidays and the many others operate charter flights at many
regional airports throughout the Summer holiday periods.
There are also great value options with the scheduled
airlines such as Virgin Holidays with flights on Virgin
Atlantic airlines and British Airways Holidays using BA
flights. You can also fly via an airport served by the many
American airlines, which fly to the United States from the
airports throughout the UK. You could fly from Glasgow via
Newark into Orlando, Tampa or Miami airports with one change
of aircraft in the United States.
There are also flight options
available via Dublin with Aer Lingus or via Reykavik in
Iceland and also many of the Canadian airports served from
the UK such as Toronto.
So whatever way you choose to
get your flight to Florida make sure you check out all the
options and of course prices.
